Return, Exchange & Warranty Policy
Thank you for shopping with Buddha Trace. We are dedicated to providing high-quality items and hope you are completely satisfied with every piece of art and accessory you purchase. If, however, you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we are here to help.
1. Returns
Return Window: You have the right to request a return and refund within 30 days from the date you receive your item.
Eligibility for Returns: To be eligible for a return and refund, your item must be unused and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging, complete with all accompanying accessories, certificates, and tags (please do not remove anti-counterfeit labels or break the original factory shrink wrap).
Non-Returnable Items: We regret that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following types of items:
Custom-made or personalized items
Clearance or sale items
Opened or used Tibetan incense
Used gift cards
Thangka artworks
2. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective due to manufacturing or damaged during transit. If you need to exchange an item for the exact same product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel. Send an email to our customer service at buddhatraceme@gmail.com, attaching clear photos of the damaged area.
3. Warranty
We stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of Buddha Trace products. For specific categories (such as jewelry and accessories), we offer a 6-month limited warranty, effective from the date of purchase.
Warranty Coverage: The warranty covers defects in materials, manufacturing, and craftsmanship.
Warranty Exclusions:
Normal wear and tear from daily use (e.g., minor scratches, natural oxidation).
Accidental damage, negligence, or improper use (e.g., breakage from dropping or forceful pulling).
Discoloration or damage caused by exposure to water, perfumes, harsh chemicals, or extreme environments.
Repairs or modifications performed by an unauthorized third party not affiliated with Buddha Trace.
4. How to Initiate a Return or Warranty Claim
Submit a Request: Please email buddhatraceme@gmail.com with the subject line "Return / Warranty - Order #XXXX". In the body of the email, detail your request and the reason for it (if it is a quality issue, please be sure to attach clear photos or videos).
Obtain Authorization: Our customer service team will review your request within 7 business days. If approved, we will send you specific instructions on how to return your package. Please do not send your item back without contacting us first.
Return Address: Once you have received return authorization, please securely pack the item and ship it to the address provided by our customer service team.
5. Shipping Costs
Customer Responsibility: If you are returning an item due to a "change of mind" or personal reasons, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Our Responsibility: If the return or exchange is due to our error (e.g., incorrect item shipped, severe quality defect), we will cover the return shipping costs and ship the replacement item to you free of charge.
Recommendation: If you are shipping an item of high value, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
6. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your request is approved, your refund will be processed immediately, and the funds will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 business days.
